About who needs care: He is legend! An outdoor enthusiast, very social, Christian man, full of remarkable stories and wisdom. Hunting is his favorite thing to do, followed by teaching others. He has a few health issues that require doctors visits and sometimes he struggles with brain fog and confusion. He has vision issues because he only has one eye (no peripheral vision) and his hearing and sense of smell are not great either. He needs someone who can come by once or twice a week to help with errands like groceries and taking him to doctors visits, in addition to helping him keep his medications refilled and dosed out for a week or two at a time. Sometimes he needs a little extra care like help with bandages / dressings if he gets ulcers on his feet. About the care needs: A warm sociable disposition would be ideal, definitely someone who is open to hearing a lot about the his Christian faith. An interest in things like archery, primitive skills, hunting, etc would be a dream come true but not required. It would be preferable that this person have some medical skills under their belt and a good understanding of medications and doctors lingo so they can safely help with medication adjustments /refilling and changing weekly pill boxes. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
