Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Richmond Hill

About who needs care: Very independent but lonely/bored. Family all live within walking distance. He volunteers at the local VA center on Tuesday and Thursday. He really needs help with household cleaning since he is older/less flexible. Floors, bathroom, kitchen. But since he is looking for more interaction I was hoping to pair up a companion that may chat/ make dinner for him also. He is retired Major Vietnam vet and loves to dress up to go out to see a show. He fishes, and spoils his granddaughter and nieces/nephews who live close by. No needs for his healthcare, he is neat and tidy. Just needs an extra hand and a good home cooked meal :) About the care needs: He used to be quite popular with the ladies, and loves to have the ladies in his life cook him a meal. Someone who will provide conversation, banter and willing to be part of our family too. We hope to have him age gracefully at home, so as he gets older we have trusted contact that can help us too. He loves culture, getting out to shows, museums and he enjoys local activities. Loves to hear about local Savannah black history and such. Woman, ethnic, would be good but anyone male/female black/white, that can entertain him, he would enjoy. MUST cook a good meal :) and make great conversation. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
