About who needs care: Mom is 80 and lives in our home. We are going on vacation. She is supposed to go to NC and stay with my sister but is likely to say she wont go at the last minute. I need someone to check on her and bring or make dinner with her. She has dementia and COPD. She smokes outside on the patio. She cant drive anymore. She takes care of herself including her own medication but is stubborn. About the care needs: Someone who is kind and trustworthy who will spend time just sitting and talking or playing a game with her. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
