About who needs care: I have vertigo and use between a cane or a walker depending on how bad it is (mostly I can get by with a cane). I can no longer drive, so I'm restricted to my complex except for days that my brother can take me to the doctor. I live in an area where I cannot walk to public places, and spending time with my brother (I've relocated here where I have only one relative) is not an option. I'm looking for help mainly to get out of the house, have someone to talk to about any thing female, to knit or crochet or paint with, or even talk about it. I'd love to see something other than the inside of a grocery store. About the care needs: I'm looking for someone nice, patient, someone who doesn't mind me talking sometimes. I'm younger at heart than my age even if my body is older than I am. I don't even mind tagging along on errands they have to run as long as it's not a timed thing. Even if a coffee run is all it is. Even if the caregiver likes music while driving (actually, I would love being in a car where music is playing). Just someone who likes people, and don't mind me being myself. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
