About who needs care: My grandmother is still trying to maintain some independence. She is very much still there mentally but has physical limitations. She loves to sit in her chair and go through the mail and talk about the environment and politics. Also loves to read and look at pictures of animals! Dogs are her most favorite thing in the whole world - so if you have a friendly one, bring it! She could honestly just use a patient ear and somebody who can jump up and help out with more physical home care activities - after she tries it for the first time! About the care needs: We have a stubborn German woman on our hands! She is a spunky 91-year-old, who does not accept her age. She wants to maintain independence, but physically is not as capable as she is mentally anymore. Extra points if you speak German! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
