About the job
Seeking a kind, energetic, and dependable caregiver for our 34 yr old son with Downs. He's active, social, and enjoys basketball, bowling, cycling, swimming and YMCA activities. He'd like to work with someone near his age between 24 and 39 who shares his interests, This is a hands-on care role that includes assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene, basic physical exercise, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation to doctor's appointments, therapy, and community activities. Our son has limited verbal language and may use gestures, sounds, or simple words. He is mobile, attends speech therapy, and responds well to structure and routine. The schedule is Monday thru Thursday, 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. If you're an active individual who enjoys making a difference in someone's life, we'd love to hear from you!
