About who needs care: Underlying conditions: Vertigo, Generalized Anxiety, & Panic attacks. Hobbies/interest: bargain shopping, crochet, going to the movies, going out to eat. Assistance needed: transportation to & from appointments & other personal care trips (grocery shopping, hair appointments, recreational activities, etc.), a companion to accompany her while shopping in stores & to observe/help with meal preparation, & someone who is willing to respond/be on-call when vertigo/anxiety reaches panic mode. About the care needs: Easy-going, self-controlled, energetic, polite, compassionate, respectful, & patient. My mom can be extremely high-strung so the person to assist her will need to know how to respond/intervene.
