Live-in Home Care Needed For My Father In Kingsland

About who needs care: Has diabetes and walks with a walker. Needs a little help with baths. Rides to doctors' appointments and transporting to groceries. Just needs a companion to talk to, He lost his son on 27Jan2025 and his wife on 29Jan2025. They were his caregivers. A person can have a lot of freedom. We are just looking for someone to just be there and help when needed. He likes church on Sundays but has a ride. So, the caregiver can have most of Sunday off. And ideal day would be to help him gather his clothes and possible dressed, help get him breakfast in morning. He likes to sit in his recliner and watch news or sports, but he can handle that on his own. If he has an appointment, he will need to be driven there and walked with to the office. groceries, mail, take garbage out when needed. There is a community pool that the caregiver can go and enjoy. The caregiver can have ample hours during the day to do what they like. Provide lunch and dinner. Be a companion for a few hours a day. Have their own room and bathroom but be able to help him in the middle of the night if he needs to use the restroom. And he has to have a compression boot on at least 45 min a day. He is ex Marine and likes to play the lottery. About the care needs: Have patience. A female is ok but because he is a little on the heavy side a male would be good too. He just lost his only son in January so a male might be good for him. They just need to be able to help him up out of recliner, though I am working on buying him a recliner that lifts him as well. The caregiver needs to be genuine and compassionate and had ethics in their caregiving decisions. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
