Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Jefferson

Mom is a recent widow as she lost her husband (my dad) right before Thanksgiving a couple of months ago. Two weeks ago, she broke her knee and may need help after she leaves the rehabilitation center. Mom has three exotic birds so if a caregiver has experience and can help with feeding and cleaning birdcages, that would be helpful. We will need someone who is patient with a sense of humor. Mom is pretty easy to get along with but sometimes she struggles with expressing her thoughts. She does not have dementia or anything like that, she's very aware. Services needed: errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance. May need help with bathing but that will depend on how her rehabilitation goes. Start and end dates are flexible; right now, we're taking this one day at a time. Thank you for your consideration.
