About who needs care: He is in middle stage Alzheimer's and has Anosognosia. He is ambulatory and gets restless and bored. His days mostly consist of watching TV, looking at videos on his phone, and sweeping the porches and driveway outside. He is getting increasingly argumentative about bathing and wears the same clothes for days on end. The personal hygiene issues are our biggest challenge at the moment. About the care needs: The caregiver should be highly experienced and appropriately qualified to work with Alzheimer's patients in the middle stage. They should be patient, have a good sense of humor, and love to chat and laugh. Helping with grocery store runs is a plus. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
