About the job
My brother is 23 with mild autism. So he functions like you and I, I however just want someone to be able to cook for him and buy groceries and more so let the dogs out and keep the house in good condition. In January time frame my wife and I will both be in a different locations for 8 months me 9 months so I most likely will extend the schedule shown. My brother normally brushes his teeth and eats he may play the game for a while around 8 or 9 he may eat and then relax play the game or watch anime and then 12 he may do the same and then he may work out or watch YouTube. After he may relax fall asleep for a while wake up come talk or see what's going on and get on the game around 6 or 7 eat dinner and then he's pretty much on repeat everyday other day. He doesn't have a bed time we do our best to treat him like an adult. My brother interest are video gaming and anime or marvel. He loves to debate with me all the time. My brother likes working out sometimes! The ideal day would be simple, stop by we'll provide a key. We expect my brother to be an adult and wash his own dishes and clean his room and etc. However we would get a list of groceries or foods he want to eat and maybe an errand run to the store just to pick up said items. Cooking, breakfast, lunch, dinner. Making sure he's okay, does he feel safe, that's keeping the house clean which should be easy since it would be a brand new built house. First aid training/ background in being a caregiver Patience, kindness, problem solving skills, Able to maintain a clean home. No criminal history This house has a garage in the interior and on the outside a parking on the exterior of the garage. We have 2 pets Theo ( A Wheaton terrier) Dyno ( golden retriever lab mix) Theo is always excited. But once you get to know him he's very sweet. He doesn't bite he's a barker and loves to play with dyno and drink water. He's sweet to the family and we love him. Dyno is a new family dog who we love very much he's the opposite he gets attached and loves attention. He's a fat boy he loves to eat. He's entergetic with Theo and he's a lover dog he just loves hugs and kisses.
