About the job
Our relative is fairly independent has a moderate busy schedule and enjoys being alone; however, we are seeking someone to make a check on her most days when she is home to ensure safety as she ages. Does not need any outright help except when it comes to figuring out technology and can be rigid about this. You must have a sense of humor and secure in your sense of yourself, deferential, observant, and hopefully possess some training in best practices surrounding people who can be forgetful, but who are largely independent. Also, note that we prefer short visits to longer stretches, as there are no significant needs for help beyond just a daily welfare check. It goes without saying that you will need a car of your own and ability to communicate with the family.
