Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother .

About whom needs care: Looking for someone to help me with my 77-year-old mother with dementia. I prefer someone who can help with light meals, laundry, light cleaning, ADL's, and companionship. My mom enjoys watching television, listening to music, and spending time outside. She really enjoys sitting in our gazebo in the backyard. She is usually very sociable. However, over the past few months, she has become more reclusive. I believe the right caregiver can get her out of her shell. About the care needs: Looking for someone who is easy going, patient and compassionate. Also, a caregiver whom, preferably, who has worked with elderly/dementia patients in the past. She is on hospice, they bathe her M -F. Looking for someone in the afternoon and early evening 4 to 5 days a week.
