About the job
We are looking for a weekly caregiver for my grandmother. Grandma is 88 years old, has five children, and was married for over 60 years. She has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loves visits with my 1-year-old son. She enjoys listening to hymns and instrumental music, playing Scrabble when her vision allows, and reminiscing about the past. We are glad she is able to live her last years here with us! She was just placed on hospice care but is still able to move around with her walker, go to the bathroom (usually) unassisted, and eat without help. Her vision is very limited and she gets out of breath easily. She just started using oxygen as needed and would need assistance taking the medicine I have set out for her. We definitely need someone to be with her on Sundays but may add other times as well.
