About the job
Looking for care for my 87-year-old Mother who has undiagnosed cognitive delays ie.. dementia/Alzheimer's. She has more moments of clarity than non, but has definite decline. She needs help dressing, ensuring she eats and takes her vitamins and drinks fluids. We would love someone who has experience in working with seniors with dementia/Alzheimer's and who actively engages with them including playing cards, doing puzzles, etc. We are doing everything in our power to keep her at home. Days needed may vary. Currently have someone who may be able to care for her on Tuesdays and Thursdays but will definitely need M/W/F and if possibly T/Th if our current caretaker isn't able to continue the schedule. Carr will need to start on Monday Jan 27th. Also we have dogs who love their grandma. Must be pet friendly and experienced as well.
