About who needs care: She had brain surgery in 2005 which causes some short term memory when she gets tired. She fell getting in the shower on the 26th of Jan. This has caused a fear factor. And my main concern. At 80 yrs old, she doesn't have many hobbies. She does use the word search books to keep her mind sharp. Once upon a time, her ideal day would have been shopping. Not high on her list of things to do now. About the care needs: My mom is a strong Christian woman. She knows where she's going when she passes. She has fallen a couple of times the past week. She wanted to move to the second floor part of the house. For some independence and I'm able to hear her better. I am home all day too. And have postponed my chemo for the past month or 2 because of everything going on. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
