About the job
About who needs care: I'm the grandmother of a woman who has a child who has been diagnosed with PANS/PANDAS. She requires full-time care from her parents at this time. Father works which leaves the mother with more than she can do. The child's disorder can last a long time, depending on how the treatments go. What we need is a helper to do the housework that the parents would normally do if they didn't have to be with the child full-time. About the care needs: They would be comfortable working around three non-aggressive dogs, 9-year-old boy if not in school, and a live-in grandfather. This is a preliminary request, (more like a first attempt to find a workable solution) and the final decision would lie with the parents and the mother's mother (my daughter). I live 500 miles from them and the Grandmother works every day. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
