Assisting clients in all activities of daily living/hygiene assistance bathing, grooming, linen changes, etc. Preparing meals within a patient's diet and assisting clients with eating, when necessary. Assisting clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises as directed and instructed by the client's Plan of Care. Performing light housekeeping, which facilitates client self-care in the home. Meeting the safety needs of the client by utilizing equipment safely and properly. Completing records accurately and performing all assignments as requested. Provide attention to clients' non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement Assist clients with medication reminders. Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
