About the job
Our family is in search of a part time caregiver. This individual will be caring for and spending time with an elderly man (74 YO) with dementia and his wife (74 YO) who is improving after a medical concern earlier this year. Time may consist of taking a walk, or watching TV, or just answering questions. This time will give his wife (full time caregiver) respite. The primary patient's hobbies include walking, occasionally watching TV, and working with hands We're looking for someone who has experience with dementia and who can care for two elderly people. Looking for companionship as well as someone to run errands, or take patients to doctors appointments or on short trips to stores. Our family doesn't have any pets.
