About the job
About who needs care: She is 82, very active and physically strong. She only recently has started taking any sort of prescription meds ( for A-fib ). She is beginning to have memory problems: Bills have gone unpaid, asks the same question 14 times per day, forgets to eat, forgets to take daily meds. She still drives, walks around her neighborhood, loves her neighbors, active in the community, drives to laundromat. Needs daily reminder for meals and meds, cleaning, etc. About the care needs: Prefer female caregiver. She is very non-confrontational and will need someone to ask what she wants and who will help her verbalize what that is. Caregiver will need to be physically fit enough to keep up with her. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
