About who needs care: I need someone to: 1) let May, my dog, out around 8 or 8:; 30 a.m. and give her kibble and water as needed 2) if the bed rail Ive ordered provides the assistance I hope, Im self sufficient till time to make and pour morning tea. If the bed rail doesn't provide the assistance I need Ill need a hand to pull against to sit up in bed. I will know by early January. 3) fix a pot of tea & pour me 2 cups (around 9:30. I could get up at the same time May goes out which would shorten this block of morning assistance time needed to one hour.) 4) put on deodorant 5) take cup of melted ice water from bedroom to kitchen mornings 6) bring cup of ice water from kitchen to bedroom at night 7) change my socks every day or two 8) put May out at 8 p.m. 9) put May out at 10 p.m. May will follow me to the back door. Its the persuasive push from behind at 8 and 10 p.m. I need help with. I can give up 8 & 9 but it will likely result in May going in the house over night and pee or poop to clean in the morning. About the care needs: I have cerebral palsy and a speech impediment making me hard to understand at times. I need someone able to listen and able to tell me when they did not understand what I said. I am fine repeating myself to be understood. Services needed include: mobility assistance.
