About who needs care: My father recently had a stroke but is recovering. However, he is beginning to show signs of cognitive decline. My parents are intent on staying in their home which could accommodate someone to live in a separate area of the home. At this time, my father has limited immediate needs, but I am looking for a longer term solution. In addition, someone who could help with light cleaning, cooking, driving, etc. About the care needs: Looking for a woman with an easygoing personality. Ideally, we would find someone who has been with another family for years and now is available. This person would hopefully be able to give my parents their space, but help when needed. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
