About who needs care: Client is my ex husband, father of our 2 daughters. I am assisting them in finding help for their father. He has moderate to mid stage Alzheimer's- still very much wishes to live in his home. Is very forgetful and on occasion has lapses for brief periods of not remembering they are his daughters. He is still very competent to do pers hygiene, toileting etc But no longer drives, would need trips to the store, infrequent trips to Dr or vet for his senior dog, lite housekeeping, perhaps occasional meal prep. Generally just Visits to catch him up on needs and ensure he's OK as daughters just can't be there every day, they both work full-time About the care needs: He is highly intelligent, laid back personality, open minded liberal. He seems to fare better w females. Loves music, was avid reader and enjoys nature with his dog. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
