I am a 55-year-old retired teacher . I use a power chair to get around. My care team is a crucial part of my daily life. I have caregivers that come to the house morning and evening to help me get out of bed and into bed and set me up for the day. I need someone who can be around in the middle of the day to help with things I need. I live in a beautiful Island. The compensation for the live-in is free rent and $750/month. This role is great for students or for people who have some sort of other income that can also accommodate being around a bit during the day. I recently elected hospice care in order to add more resources to my care team. Between their daily visits and a live-in, I'm hoping to cover all of my daily needs.
