Hands-on Care Needed For My Husband In The Villages

About who needs care: He typically sleeps from 11 p to 12 p, then spends remainder of days sitting on lanai due to back pain with his cats. Has short term memory loss due to Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus, type 2 diabetic (med controlled), lacks motivation. Is able to do self care, but needs someone to cook/reheat small meals, double check that he eats and takes his meds. About the care needs: I'm not sure, this is new for me. I need to be up north for a month and he is not willing to go with me. So I'm looking for someone with patience, not allergic to cats, can do some simple cooking and/or meal prep. Be willing to take him to the neighborhood pool for walking. Medically, just need to double check to make sure he takes his meds. It would be nice to have a male, so he can engage with a like mind. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
