Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Temple Terrace

Prefer someone who lives in the TT area. Help is needed Mondays 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. also on Saturday evenings every other week at the same times. Additional day and evening hours are available. We base pay on certification and experience. She has a sweet personality but has Alzheimer's and is hard of hearing. She should use a walker for balance issues, but always forgets. She like to play games, read, take a walk. She spends a lot of time doing jigsaw puzzles. She does watch much TV. Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, staying on task and on schedule with naps, meals, pills, etc. Patience for answering repeated questions is necessary. A commanding presence can be helpful at times and a loud voice is sometimes needed for her to hear/understand.
