About who needs care: She has the starting of Alzheimer's, but can do all her self care duties such as bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, going to the bathroom. She enjoys just getting out of the house to do anything. She takes the morning at a slow pace, getting up, coffee, breakfast. Between 11am-3 p.m. do a mixture of running errands, doing something out of the house and have lunch. After 3:00, relax, watch tv, fix dinner. About the care needs: Our ideal caregiver would have a soft touch, be a good communicator, observant to notice changes in her behavior, make sure he pill box is filled and she's taking them, could drive her to do errands, maybe cook with her sometimes, and be a good companion while they are there. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
