About who needs care: My mother will be 82 and has the beginning signs of Alzheimers which has affected her short term memory. She uses a walker to get around and is still able to move around fairly well. She has macular degeneration & has difficulty seeing & is also hard of hearing. She just needs someone to take her to Drs Appointments and some small meal prep & medication reminder. About the care needs: The current care taker I have is Cuban and my mom totally lives her! She is younger with 3 children which my mom likes as well because my mom had 3 kids too! Mom likes someone thats organized, and not lazy that takes initiative to get things done. Someone that has a backbone but in a nice way. Mom can be stubborn at times but, mostly a pleasure to be around. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
