About who needs care: My brother lives alone, except for his faithful dog, Goldie. My brother, Jim, lost his wife a few years ago and has been drifting ever since. He has, to my knowledge , no friends that are near and he has been ill with heart problems and GI difficulties. He fell a couple of years ago and has mobility problems. The only hobby he has is the computer. He loved the out of doors and sailing, but he has lost interest in that due in part to his mobility problems. About the care needs: Ideally a man, but a woman should be able to handle him [he is not violent at all nor does he have any mental problems. It should be a democrat or someone who is tolerant to wild ideas that are based in fact. Jim has a degree in Philosophy from William and Mary and he was in charge of the computers for the Dept of Health. Specialized skills... patience. Jim used to play chess and card games when we were younger. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
