About who needs care: She is 89-year-old who needs companionship, transportation, errands, possible food prep. Highly anxious. Can be difficult to deal with and highly stubborn. She has hypertension and normal aging. Her problems are more mentally based. So far, healthy for her age. Very mobile. No cane or walker. About the care needs: Someone with a lot of patience. The main concern of mine is her mental issues. She has been highly independent, and is not used to a person being in her home. She has lived a highly secluded life without much social interaction. She does speak to neighbors. She could never sustain friendships. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
