I need a compassionate, understanding and patient person to help care for my mother who has Parkinson's and Lewy body dementia. Meal prep is minimal. We would like someone who has a medical background or has experience with Hoyer lift and proper transferring techniques. Experience and patience is important, I need someone who spends time caring for and engaging with my mom, and not time on their phone. If you have experience with LB dementia, you'll know that they can be irritable and agitated at times. They can decline quickly. This is when you will require the most patience and compassion. She requires moderate to maximum assistance into her chair to go to bathroom etc. Lately she has been requiring the Hoyer lift more often. Please reach out if you think you can help.
