About the job
About who needs care: A does her own peritoneal dialysis. She has had multiple falls one that left her blind in her left eye. She worked in the banking industry. She is widowed with no children. B & S are like her kids. Their mother was her best friend. She likes to watch the news. Big fan. She was previously very active but now has to use a walker to get around. A gets up around 8 a.m. She does her dialysis around 9 a.m. takes approx. 30-45 mins. She usually lays down for a few minutes after. Lunch is usually prepared for her. If she is up to it she is assisted into the shower & helped bathed 2-3 days. She only needs minor assistance with dressing. She is very anxious & is up & down constantly. A needs assistance with light house keeping, laundry, batting, reminder to take meds & shopping. She likes to play card game. Daily walk if therapy is not in to get her walking. About the care needs: A wants a woman who is friendly & caring. She loves to talk about stars & politics. Especially Trump. She likes to play cards. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
