About the job
About who needs care: Moderate dementia, with age related hearing loss. She wears aids. Uses a walker and attends Senior Resource Program 3 times a week. Can bathe herself but needs assistance with dressing. Preparing meals for her is a necessity. She loves to eat just about anything and popsicles. Sleeps well nightly 12-14 hrs. She enjoys watercolor painting and her little service dog (Amber). She spends a lot of time in her chair watching Homestead Rescue, when she is not napping. About the care needs: Ideal caregiver would be someone who enjoys chit chatting, and is easygoing. Southern cooking experience would be a plus! Mom is not real high maintenance, but can be needy for chit chat which I do not share that need. Services needed include: transportation, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
