About the job
We need hands-on care to take care of my grandfather in Sarasota who has advanced Parkinson's and other medical issues. He is a very high fall risk and experience lifting and transferring is a requirement at 170lbs.* He needs significant assistance moving, getting in and out of bed, getting on and off toilet (including hygiene care), going in and our of cars and doing activities to stay active. Experience with managing meds and CPR/first aid is required. You will need to help with light housekeeping (mopping, dishes, etc) as well as personal care including feeding, preparing meals, and bathing would be beneficial. Ideal candidate will start part time in the days and eventually move in and be live in caretaker as well.
