About the job
I'm looking for live-in home care for myself in my 70s. This is the position I am trying to fill. I am a 74 y. o. C-6 quadriplegic. Currently I employ 2 caretakers. One works 4 days a week, the other works 3 days. My caretaker who works 3 days a week is leaving on February 5 to visit her home in the Philippines and returning April 20. I am looking for someone to work 2 or 3 days a week, preferably consecutively, but there is flexibility on which days. My care includes my morning routine which is, bathing and dressing. I have an overhead lift for transfers. Meal preparation including my dog, shopping, driving my van to doctor appointments, laundry, and housekeeping are included in the job description. Paid training would be provided before the actual start date. Pay is negotiable. References are required.
