About the job
Looking for a senior care provider to assist an 83 y/o male cancer patient with bathing/dressing, meal preparation, vitamin/pill organization, and a once daily liquid retention enema. The enema is an easy 15-20 minute process that will be taught to caregiver. Patient is able to ambulate on own, but needs occasional assistance standing up from a seated position. (Pt. weights approx. 120lbs). Patient lives at home with wife (85 y/o F) who is independent and does not require any assistance or care. Patient is looking for approx. 3-4 hours of care per day, 7 days per week. We plan to hire multiple (2-3) caregivers to split up the week and to accommodate caregivers schedules. Time of visits are flexible, but would need to occur during daytime hours.
