About who needs care: He cannot drive. He is losing weight and strength. I think a big part is loneliness. My mother passed last November. He needs assistance with his medications, making meals, and minor assistance around the house. He is competent and able, but has limited strength. About the care needs: Someone who is able to listen to stories, drive home to Dr appts, and to grocery store. He doesn't want to drive anymore. He is blind in one eye and doesn't feel comfortable driving. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
