About the job
Someone to keep an eye on mom who has mild dementia, she uses a walker but gets around on her own . She goes to the bathroom etc by herself also. Dad is still alive and since mom doesn't cook or clean any longer it's a lot for him . We need someone to watch after mom so he can get a break by leaving the house or just working outside , do light housekeeping like dishes , sweep and mop , make the bed and prepare lunch for them . Mom and dad are both very kind and easy to work with . We are somewhat flexible with the hours and may also want some afternoon / evening hours as well in the near future . Mom loves her flowers but sometimes it's hard to get her to go outside , she loves to look at her magazines and look through all kinds of stuff she keeps by her chair . AT LEAST CNA TRAINING AS THEY HAVE LONG TERM CARE INSURANCE AND HAVE TO MEET THEIR REQUIREMENTS Live out in the country on a farm They have no pets
