About who needs care: Looking for short term help with my mother in law. She's recovering from a fall, resulting in broken pelvis. She's doing well, walking with a walker but is still at risk of fall and not driving. She's a Parkinson's patient who is doing well on meds. Primarily we need general help around her apartment. Maybe some food prep and shopping. Being present in the apartment while she showers. Mom in law is intelligent, funny and loves engaging in conversation. She's a wicked bridge player and loves music. About the care needs: Ideally we would love someone who could play cards with mom in law. She gets on well with most people, she enjoys telling stories about her family, someone engaged and a good listener would be a great fit. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
