About who needs care: They have an A-typical type of Parkinson's known as CBD (Corticobasal degeneration.) Main need is to help lift out of bed and help into chair once away, usually midday, and then back into bed in the evening. General help with care could be necessary as well. They have no ability to stand on their own and have use of one hand to feed themselves currently. Other hand is unreliable. No real ability to enjoy hobbies. Watches TV mainly and holds conversations mostly, but does have memory failure and confused moments. About the care needs: Would need to be strong, able to lift a 150 pound man. Good at keeping on a conversation and good humored. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
