Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Palm Coast

About who needs care: The patient has dementia but is pleasant and cooperative with care. She enjoys pets and music. The patient gets up by 8 a.m. and has breakfast. she eat light for lunch and may not want a dinner. She needs assistance to and from the bathroom and with her daily care but can perform some of it when cued. She takes several naps during the day and needs encouragement and assistance with physical activity About the care needs: The caregiver preferred would be a female who is good at assisting with daily care and good at encouraging short walks and activities. Doing things with the patient such as listening to music, easy crafts, looking at pictures of family and friends. They should like a dog as the patient has a labradoodle that she loves to have beside her on on her lap. Possibly bake easy items and have her assist but does not need to be good at cooking. The only cleaning need would be to pick up after things during care but not any major cleaning. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
