About who needs care: I work from home so I need someone to keep him company during the day and help with moving him around until he can do so on his own. He had a stroke and is being treated at Mount Sinai's inpatient physical therapy for semi acute care. He is getting better at using the walker and transferring with one persons assistance. When he is tired he requires two people to assist with transfers. About the care needs: Personality - he does better with male care takers that are straightforward. Specialized skills - able to help him transfer when he's tired. He is 6 foot and around 180 pounds. Normally 196 but has lost weight. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
