About the job
We are looking for a senior care provider with previous experience, especially using a hoyer lift. Our mother has very limited mobility and just returned home from physical rehab. She needs assistance changing adult diapers, changing clothes, bedside bathing, changing linens, meal prep, medication prompting, and housekeeping. Applicants should be physically strong for mobility assistance for a person weighing about 185 lbs. She has exercises she needs to do daily 4x a week when PT doesn't come to the house. She needs help to stay physically active, even if exercises are in the bed (like moving from side to side and sitting up). Also, we are looking for someone to provide companionship. Spanish speaking is a plus but not required as she is bilingual and also speaks English. There is one cat in the home.
