About who needs care: Dad is 94 years old. He is an English speaker. He is very sharp mentally and has very strong cognition and loves to watch TV and talk with someone. He is very neat and tidy and well groomed. He needs supervision to be sure he doesn't fall. He uses a walker and gets about on his own very well with supervision. He needs assistance with showering & toileting. He has a good appetite and enjoys home cooked meals. He has a skilled nurse 2 times a week to manage medications and needs reminders of when to take them for his AFib and blood pressure. He is married to my 82-year-old mother for 62 years. Mother is in fair condition herself and an active participant in dads care and can use some help herself. About the care needs: Must speak English. Must be congenial and kindly mannered with a loving tone of voice. Must be able to prepare meals, take short walks outside, basic elder care. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
