I'm looking for companion care for my father in his 80s. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc..), administrative tasks such as scheduling/managing appointments, and companionship. Caregiver would be asked to participate in medical appointments to make note of doctor's comments and instructions. Care would be scheduled on as needed basis, with some recurring errands. Job sharing would work well to cover his needs. Caregiver must be a non-smoker, as my dad has breathing issues which are exacerbated by smoke or smoke odor. Ideal candidate would be available for early morning transportation to/from church (weekdays and/or Sundays), but this is not a requirement. My Dad enjoys coin collecting, drawing/painting, woodworking, and is interested in history.
