About the job
Need PT experienced, mature, good-natured, calm and creative person to work in Mary Esther home with a 52 yr-old male with a traumatic brain injury. Uses a wheelchair for mobility; needs assistance to transfer but no lifting. Manages his own personal hygiene. Bladder & bowel continent. Has good sense of humor; speech and balance impairments. Enjoys conversation and company while watching TV, playing cards & dominoes. Duties include household management, light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, giving meds. It is not a physically demanding job. Experience with dementia clients helpful. 24/7 coverage is needed. At this time have an open Saturday shift, 9am-3pm, + need for PRN providing opportunity for more hours and shift times. Several of our Caregivers have been working with us for 4+ years. It is a good place to work.
