About who needs care: Mother: Healing from a broken hip and femur; arthritis Bridge, reading, gardening Gets up and has coffee, makes breakfast, enjoys sitting outside; reads; Enjoys pool exercise and reading; talks to family on phone; cooks, goes to bed Father: Alzheimer's. Struggles with short term memory, taking pills, cleaning himself About the care needs: Someone who is patient and friendly, but also is a firm demander of things that need to get done. We really need someone to help with bathing and self-care, medication, and basic household chores that my mom may not be able to do anymore since her injury. Helping my dad take medication. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
