About who needs care: My brother is in a nursing facility with dementia. He is physically fit and loves to walk outside. Since I live in NC I thought I would look at the possibility of finding someone who could talk to him and spend time outside so he doesn't feel as isolated and depressed. He used to work out every day and also was a Marathon runner until he was admitted into a nursing facility. He was also a therapist for those affected with drug and alcohol abuse. Im looking for a fun type person who has a good sense of humor. He can feed himself and dress himself. He's just very forgetful. Im looking for someone maybe for apx 2hrs 3 days a week. About the care needs: Someone who has a good sense if humor and if possible someone who works out. That would be something in common they have. Preferably a female . They would gave to be very patient since he has dementia and is forgetful. Someone that loves life and can show him hope! Services needed include: companionship.
