About the job
About who needs care: I was very active. Walked 2 to 3 miles daily. Dislocated my hip Aug 2024. Wore a hip brace until Feb. 2-25 when I had a hip revision where they removed the old hip replacement part (had to break a bone to do so) and then inserted new hip replacement parts. I am legally blind. I cannot be left alone. I am slowly recovering from the hip surgery but it is slow because 2 bones were broken (I broke my femur bone 3 days after surgery) About the care needs: I am told I have a crazy personality and am very easy to be with. I have a good sense of humor. Sometimes I like to be quiet. I find most people are likable and easy to get along with. When I was in the hospital and rehab I tried to remember the name of every staff person helping me. There aren't any special skills needed that I can think of. I used to like gardening and sewing but can no longer do either of those. I love watching HGTV where they remodel homes or find houses for people to buy. Services needed include: companionship.
