About who needs care: I am a Type 1 Diabetic with additional auto-immune diseases, such as Sjogren's Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and Hashimoto's. Back in September of 2024, I was on my way home from work when I lost control of my car on I-95. My car flipped four times and immediately caught fire. I managed to escape before the car exploded. I shattered my right heel and broke my ankle, and fractured my sternum, spine, ribs, and hips. I currently cannot walk without assistance, I cannot drive, I can barely bend, I can't stand up for too long and I can't sit for too long. Day to day tasks have become nearly impossible. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
